Everyone here at Leggett Kitchens would like to welcome you to our newly designed Website!

Leggett Kitchens is celebrating 125 Years in Business!

June 1, 2011

Dear Leggett Kitchens,

Thank you for making the 12th Annual Golf for the Cure event such a success. Your generosity continues to astound us! Although Mother Nature continued her bad mood, we still had an enjoyable day. Every hole was sponsored, all gifts were donated and numerous monetary donations were made. Our total proceeds were over $8,400! These funds will be turned in to the Juvenile Diabetes Res earch Foundation in Ryan’s name.

Over the past twelve years, this gold outing has raised a total of $91,000 in an effort to find a cure for diabetes. YOU have played a significant part in this effort. Whether you joined us to golf, sponsored a hole, donated prizes and/or made monetary contributions, you have made a significant impact on finding a cure.

JDRF is the world’s number one nonprofit, nongovernmental funder of diabetes research. JDRF brings together world-renowned experts in the areas of diabetes, gene therapy, immunology and transplantation with a common goal of finding a cure through islet cell transplantation and genetic engineering. It is one of the most promising hopes of finding a cure. Moving research closer to patient applications is high in JDRF’s list of promises.

We hope that you enjoyed the gold outing this year and look forward to seeing you again next year!! Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 13, 2012.

Our Deepest Gratitude,

Andrea, John and Ryan Jordan

Thirty high-quality cribs were donated to the Women’s Choice Network of Pittsburgh last month. These cribs will be delivered to local needy mothers with the help of volunteers around the city.
Kevin Muchnok, a local representative of Stanley Furniture Company and friend of the Women’s Choice Network, arranged the donation. The Stanley Furniture cribs are top-of-the-line, and would be otherwise unaffordable to many clients of the Women’s Choice Network. The cribs have been stored at Leggett Kitchens, a local warehouse in Lawrenceville, until they are delivered to the clients homes.

On behalf of ACHIEVA, thank you for your generous donation of a Carlton Restaurant Gift Certificate. This donation which you have valued at $100.00 will be used in support of ACHIEVA’s 2011 Pittsburgh Promenade Auction.

For more than 50 years, ACHIEVA has provided supports to more than 10,000 children and adults with disabilities. With your help, this commitment will be maintained and enhanced. We are proud to have you as a partner in this effort.

Again, our thanks for your support and generosity!

Recently, Leggett Kitchens participated in an event with the BARTKO Foundation. The BARTKO Foundation assists minority mothers to reach their quest of economic and educational self-sufficiency.

The BARTKO Foundation held an event at the Fox Chapel Yacht Club and Leggett Kitchens donated the costs of a table for 10 people. Leggett personnel and friends attended the event and participated in this great cause. The event was attended by several hundred people and was a great success.
